The free Veterans’ Connections series provides essential resources and fosters a supportive community for veterans in the Elizabethtown area.
Care Guide Partners PACE, an affiliate of Hosparus Health, is proud to announce the second event in its Veterans’ Connection series, an initiative designed to provide local veterans with crucial resources, support, and community connections. The next session, Veteran Resources 101, will take place at the Care Guide Partners PACE Center in Elizabethtown on Thursday, March 20, from 6:00 to 7:30 PM. Leading the discussion is The Roll Call Foundation Co-Founder, Kentucky Brigade Don Barbiea, USAF Retired, who will guide attendees through available veteran benefits and how to access them effectively.
Veterans’ Connection Schedule:
- March 20 – Veteran Resources 101
Led by The Roll Call Foundation’s Don Barbiea, veterans will gain valuable insights into navigating support systems and maximizing available resources. - May 15 – Thriving After Service: A Veteran’s Journey
This event will feature an inspiring personal story from a veteran who successfully accessed vital services and is now thriving. Special Guest: Chapel Tinnius, Miss Kentucky 2024. A dedicated advocate for veterans, Chapel will share her passion for supporting service members, perform on her fiddle, and engage with attendees. Click here to read more about Chapel Tinnius.
Both events are free and open to the public, with complimentary snacks provided.
