Care Guide Partners PACE Veterans’ Connection Series offers resources for area veterans and their families.
(Elizabethtown, KY) — Care Guide Partners PACE, an affiliate of Hosparus Health, invites area veterans and their families to the next installment of its Veterans’ Connection series on Thursday, July 17, from 6:00 to 7:30 PM at the Care Guide Partners PACE Center, 109 Buffalo Creek Drive in Elizabethtown. This free, public event will feature guest speaker Jonathan Fondow, Housing Case Manager with the Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) – VOA Honors program through Volunteers of America Mid-States.
Fondow will share how the SSVF program provides intensive case management and access to vital services for low-income veterans facing housing instability. Services offered through SSVF include housing stability planning, employment support, financial assistance for rent and utilities, and connections to healthcare, legal aid, and other community resources.
“We know that housing stability is the foundation for overall well-being,” said Prentiss Alford, Community Outreach Coordinator at Care Guide Partners PACE. “We’re honored to welcome Jonathan and help spread the word about programs that offer real, tangible support to veterans and their families in our community.”
The Veterans’ Connection series is designed to foster meaningful dialogue, share experiences, and connect attendees with helpful local resources. Light snacks will be provided.
